- 種命名者:A. Smetana
- 簡介:"Quedies huann 一般體色為黑色，頭部、前胸背板和前翅為暗藍綠色，腹部呈相當明顯之彩虹色彩，尤其是接近端部處；附器紅磚色。本種可很輕易地由身體和附器的顏色，頭部和前胸背板的毛列，前胸背板的中央部份與同屬其他種類區分。本種標本可藉由篩檢接近溪流的倒樹上苔蘚而得。截至目前為止，有關本種之文獻僅有一篇，因此本種之描述以Smetana (1995) 所發表之原始文獻為主 General color of Quedies huann Black, head, pronotum and elytra dark bluish-green, abdomen strongly iridescent, particularly toward apex; appendages testaceous. This species may be easily recognized by the character states of the coloration of the body and appendages, the chaetotaxy of the head and pronotum, from the middle portion of the pronotum. It cannot be confused with any other species occurring in Taiwan. All specimen of Quedies huann were taken by sifting moss on fallen trees near the river. So far, there is only one reference describing this species. The description based on the original description of Smetana (1995)."
