- 簡介:"Quedius syh 的深色標本與Q. beesoni類似，差別在於前翅較短，腹部背板第七節柵狀邊緣不具白色端縫，且觸角端部顏色較淺。陰莖中葉端部具有凹痕且陰莖側突中央腫大。本種在Mun-Li Cliff發現於原始優勢的茂密針葉林中腐爛樹皮中，腐敗木頭和其他沿著大樹基部的腐屑中及倒樹上的苔蘚中。在北大武山則發現於冷杉林與竹和杜鵑花之混生林中的苔蘚和各種腐質中。截至目前為止，有關本種之文獻僅有一篇，因此本種之描述以Smetana (1995) 所發表之原始文獻為主。 The dark coloured specimens of Q. syh resemble to some extent the specimens of Q. beesoni: however, they may easily be distinguished by the shorter elytra, the absence of the whitish apical seam of the palisade fringe on tergite 7 and by the pale tip of each antenna. The aedeagus of differs mainly by the character states of the deeply emarginate apex of median lobe and the median swelling of the paramere. The specimens from Mun-Li Cliff were taken by sifting rotting bark, decaying wood and other debris around bases of large trees, moss on fallen trees, various floor debris and old vegetation in a primary, predominantly coniferous, forest with lush undergrowth. The specimens from Peitawushan were taken by sifting moss and various debris in an open Abies forest with undergrowth of bamboo, rhododendrons, etc. (ridge), and by sifting floor debris under a layer of fallen Rhododendron leaves in a mixed Abies and broadleaved forest. So far, there is only one reference describing this species. The description based on the original description of Smetana (1995). "
