- 簡介:" General color of Quedius meei testaceous, rufo-testaceous to rufo-brunneous, pronotum often pale yellow, head with variably developed, piceous to piceous-black spot on about hind two thirds, leaving usually stripe along eyes and tempora pale, pronotum with distinct, irregular, dark central spot occasionally split into two spots by narrowly pale pronotal midline, abdomen sometimes slightly, indefinitely darkened toward apex; head feebly, pronotum slightly, abdomen moderately iridescent; appendages testaceous to brunneo-testaceous, medial faces of all tibiae darkened, most distinctly so on hind tibiae, darkening occasionally absent on front tibiae and indistinct on middle tibiae. Q. meei may be easily recognized by the combination of the following character states: colour pattern on the head and pronotum, interspaces between punctures on the elytra with micropunctulation, internal sac of the aedeagus with one pair of elongate, equally long, dark structures. This species occurs in montane forest habitats, from about 2200 m to about 3100 m. Specimens were collected by sifting moss, leaf litter, dead vegetation and other forest floor debris, from broad-leaved evergreen forests at middle elevations to coniferous forests at high elevations over 3000 m. So far, there is only one reference describing this species. The description based on the original description of Smetana (1995). Quedius meei體色為紅磚色，紅棕色至棕色，前胸背板常為淺黃色，頭則從亮黑色至在後端三分之二處具亮黑色斑點，使複眼旁之條紋和上頰色淺，前胸背板具明顯，不規則暗色中央斑點，有時會被細長之前胸背中線分裂為二個斑點。腹部有時略向端部變黑。附器紅磚色至紅棕色，所有脛節中央色較暗，但以後足脛節最為明顯，其他前足脛節或中足脛節較不明顯。Q. meei 與其他種類不同處在於：頭部和胸部的顏色，前翅在點刻間具微小點刻，陰莖內囊具一對細長之暗色結構。本種發生於山區的森林環境中，從2200公尺至約3100公尺處。 標本可發現於中海拔山區的常綠闊葉林至高海拔山區的針葉林內地表的苔蘚、枯枝落葉和其他腐屑中。截至目前為止，有關本種之文獻僅有一篇，因此本種之描述以Smetana (1995) 所發表之原始文獻為主。"
