- 中文說明:本件為清代台灣打造的菜瓜鬚銀環，銀環打成銀板形，中間雕著繩紋框，環的兩端打成較細之藤條，然後交互纏繞。由於瓜果都是多子多果、蔓延不絕，所以會採菜瓜藤環的造型，也是因為心中有這樣祈望。
- 日文說明:清朝時代台湾で造られた胡瓜鬚式の銀腕輪。銀の輪を板形に打ち、中間に縄紋の枠を彫り、輪の両端を細かい藤蔓にして互いに巻きつける。胡瓜の実は種多く蔓延して絶えないもの故に、胡瓜蔓の輪形に造りあげるのは、心にそうした祈望があるからである。
- 英文說明:This is a Qing Dynasty silver snake gourd whisker bracelet from Taiwan. The center of the flat body is adorned with a rope-line frame. The intertwining ends of the bracelet were formed in the shape of thin vines. Gourd vines were chosen for the design of these bracelets, because they have numerous seeds and spread out seemingly without end, representing the bearer's desire for many children and unending generations.
