(2) Shift your center of gravity onto your right foot, while slightly bending your right knee. The sole of your right foot should remain completely on the ground. Straighten your left leg, while keeping the toe of your left foot on the ground and raising the heel. Shift your left arm from above your head out toward your right side until it is horizontal with the ground, palm upward. Your right elbow should be slightly bent and right palm facing downward. This movement should be made while breathing in. (3) Shift your center of gravity onto your left foot, while slightly bending your left knee. The sole of your left foot should remain completely on the ground and your left knee kept slightly bent. Straighten your right leg, while keeping the toe of your right foot on the ground and raising the heel of that same foot. Shift your right arm from above your head out toward your right side until it is horizontal with the ground with the palm upward. Your left elbow should be slightly bent and left palm facing downward. This movement should be made while breathing out.
