英文說明:Tortoise-shell hats were worn on the backs of farmers working in the fields to shed rain. They are shaped like the shell of a turtle. When a farmer was working, the slow movement of these hats along the fields gave rise to their name. Tortoise-shell hats are woven of two layers of bamboo strips with leaves of bamboo or oilpaper between them. They shed water, and were widely used by those working the fields in the rain.
