- 種命名者:A. Smetana
- 簡介:" Quedius bih 體色為亮黑色，腹部亮棕黑色，腹部背板側區及端區和端部消淺，略呈栗色；頭，胸部和前翅具淺青銅綠色金屬光澤；腹部略具彩虹色，附器淺紅磚色。Q. bih 與Q. huann不同處除了陰莖特徵外，在於顏色之不同和頭部及胸部背方表面全部具有微小點刻。本種發現於具有茂密之原始優勢的針葉林內，大型倒樹上的苔蘚中。截至目前為止，有關本種之文獻僅有一篇，因此本種之描述以Smetana (1995) 所發表之原始文獻為主。 The general color of Quedius bih is Piceous-black, abdomen brownish-piceous, with lateral and apical portions of tergites and apex indefinitely paler, rather castaneous; head, pronotum and elytra pale bronze-green metallic; abdomen slightly iridescent; appendages pale testaceous. Q. bih differs from Q. huann, in addition to the character states of the aedeagus, by the different coloration and by the presence of the microsculpture on the entire dorsal surface of the head and pronotum. It can only be confused with Q. yann; see under the latter species for a discussion of the distinguishing characters. The holotype was taken by sifting moss on fallen large trees in a primary, predominantly coniferous, forest with lush undergrowth. So far, there is only one reference describing this species. The description based on the original description of Smetana (1995)."
