- 簡介:" Quedius shiow 與台灣其他兩種Distichalius亞屬種類差別僅在於顏色的不同。有關本種的棲息環境仍不清楚，可能發生於中海拔山區至2700公尺的森林中。標本曾於大雨後於林道邊緣所堆積的葉片中採到，或藉由篩檢茂密的原生針葉林或優勢針葉林下的腐質土壤中取得。截至目前為止，有關本種之文獻僅有一篇，因此本種之描述以Smetana (1995) 所發表之原始文獻為主。 Quedius shiow may be easily distinguished from the two other Taiwanese species of the subgenus Distichalius by the colour pattern alone. Little is known about the habitat requirements of this species. It seems to occur in forest habitats at middle mountain elevations, up to 2700 m. The specimens from Anmashan were taken from under leaves accumulated along the edges of a forest road after heavy rains. The specimen from Yushan N.P. was taken by sifting humus and debris among lush vegetation in a primary, predominantly coniferous, forest. So far, there is only one reference describing this species. The description based on the original description of Smetana (1995). "
