描述：: 中文說明:這是一把工匠所用的尺，分成上下兩面，一面是文公尺，另一面為丁蘭尺。尺上共有10個單位，每一單位有一名稱：丁、害、旺、苦、美、官、死、興、失、財。工匠在起造時，都要有吉祥的尺寸，如高、長、寬都要避免量到不吉祥的長度，如苦、死、失等，而要恰好在丁、官、興、財等吉祥尺寸。本件器物完整。; 日文說明:大工が使っている尺で、魯班尺とも云う。尺の上には十個の単位があって、その単位の名称は丁、害、旺、苦、美、官、死、興、失、財とあって、大工が測る時は吉祥の単位が必要で、例えば、高さ、長さ、広さでは不吉な単位の苦、死、失等を避け、丁、官、興などの吉祥尺度を選ぶ。この品は完全なもの。; 英文說明:This ruler is marked with two measurement scales. One edge is markedwith a wengong scale while the other has a dinglan scale.The top edge has a total of ten units, with each bearing a name (ding, hai, wang, ku, mei, gong, si, xing, shi, cai) with either an auspicious or unlucky meaning. When the carpenter began work, it was essential to use a "lucky" measurement. The height, length and width of the project had to avoid unlucky spans, such as "ku" [bitterness], "si" [death] or "shi" [loss].
