英文說明:Bells hung from the necks of oxen. Cast of bronze in a rounded shell shape, the bell consists of top and bottom sections with an opening between them. A clapper inside can move freely. When the oxen walk the bell rings telling people to be alert. A string of cowbells was made up of 10 or more individual bells hung on an iron chain. The outer surfaces were decorated with motifs such as animal faces, lion heads or the heads of other animals. This decoration served to ward off evil and ensure prosperity. This particular set consisted of three strings and thirty bells. One is complete, while the other two strings are missing bells.
