- 中文說明:造型像覆蓋的碗稱為碗帽，是幼兒四個月大時，外婆家送「頭尾」不能或缺的整套衣衫。本件以黑絨布為底，除了帽正面刺繡象徵富貴的牡丹花，後面還有三朵紅色的大絨球。
- 日文說明:碗を被せた形の帽子、赤ちゃんが四個月を迎えた時、母方の祖母から「頭尾」欠くことのない完全な衣服を贈る。この品は黒ビロード布を根底に帽子の正面に富貴を象徴する牡丹花と、後に大きな三つの赤い糸玉をつけてある。
- 英文說明:This hat, which resembles a covered bowl, is part of a suit that is given to a baby by its maternal grandparents when it is four months old. Constructed of black flannelette, this example has embroidered peonies (symbolizing “wealth and social position”) in the front as well as three large pon pons hanging from the back.
