- 中文說明:本件童帽造型為無頂的短帽，僅用繡好的一條布圈成圓圈，通稱為〝短圈〞，在紅色底布上，繡上蓮花的圖案，一則象徵仙佛的護祐，二則象徵君子的高潔風格，三則〝蓮〞、〝連〞同音，如與牡丹組合，又有〝富貴連連〞的吉祥寓意。
- 日文說明:子供用の頂のない短圏帽子、縫い合わせた一本の布で円く囲んで、通常「短圏」と云う。赤い布に蓮花の図案を刺繍し、仙佛の護祐と君子の高潔風格を象徴すると同時に、「蓮」は「連」と同音、それに牡丹と組み合わせて「富貴連連」の吉祥寓意をあらわす。
- 英文說明:This child's topless short hat consists of an embroidered band. Headwear of this sort was generally referred to as “short bands.” This example is red with lotuses embroidered connoting the blessings of Buddha and a gentleman's noble manner. The term “lotus” in Chinese (lian) is homophonous with the word “continuation.” The combination of peonies and lotus blossoms is a visual play on words as the names of the two flowers sounds like the term for “continued wealth and position.”
