羅家倫夫人張維楨女史捐贈書畫目錄,頁46-53、153-156&*本幅為一長卷,畫嘉興附近的空翠風煙、龍潭暮雲、鴛湖春曉、春波煙雨、月波秋霽、三閘奔湍、胥山松濤、武州幽瀾八個風景勝地,合稱為「嘉禾八景」。全作布局簡略,用筆不多,氣韻古樸,表現了大自然寧靜典雅的情調。 吳鎮(西元一二八○—一三五四年),浙江嘉興魏塘鎮人。字仲圭,號梅花道人。為元四大家之一。 此幀為羅志希先生捐贈。&*This work, a handscroll donated to the Museum by Mr. Lo Chih-hsi, depicts eight scenic areas around Chia-hsing known collectively as the "Eight Views of Chia-ho". The composition overall is abbreviated and the brush used sparingly, imparting a sense of archaic harmony that complements the mood of subdued tranquility pervading Nature. Wu Chen also went by the style name Chung-kuei, the sobriquet Mei-hua tao-jen, and the signed name Mei-sha-mi. A native of Wei-t'ang in Chia-hsing, Chekiang, he was gifted at poetry and prose. He also excelled at cursive script and specialized in painting landscapes and bamboo in ink, for which he became known as one of the Four Yüan Masters.&* 吳鎮(西元一二八0 —一三五四年),浙江嘉興人。字仲圭,號梅花道人。此幅所畫乃位於嘉興附近的空翠風煙、龍潭暮雲、鴛湖春曉、春波煙雨、月波秋霽、三閘奔湍、胥山松濤、武州幽瀾等八個風景勝地,合稱為「嘉禾八景」。全作布局簡略,用筆不多,氣韻古樸,表現了大自然寧靜典雅的情調。畫幅右下方有千字文第七五三「渠」字編號,為項元汴舊藏。 此幀為羅志希先生捐贈。 &* Wu Zhen, native to Weitang in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, was one of the Four Yuan Masters. This handscroll depicts 8 sites around Jiaxing, including Waves at Wuzhou, Soughing Pines at Mt. Xu, Torrents at Sanzha, Autumn Moon among Ripples, Spring Dawn at Lake Yuan, Misty Waves at Chunpo, Dusk Clouds at Longtan, and Bamboo at Kongcui. Known as “The Eight Views of Jiahe,” their arrangement here is somewhat sketchy with little brushwork to create the simple, archaic atmosphere expressing the serene interaction of humanity and nature. In the lower right corner is the 753rd character from the “Thousand Character Classic” (qu 渠), indicating this scroll was once in Xiang Yuanbian’s collection. This work was donated to the Museum by Mr. Luo Zhixi.
