- 簡介:BununWeaving machine Ethnology原住民民族誌標本布農織布機L ike other Taiwan aborigine tribes, the Bunun used a portable “horizontal back carried weaving machine to weave cloth. The angle of the yarn in the machine was horizontal.When in use one end of the device would be secured and the other rested on the user's lap. The basic weaving action was used to maintain the tension of the yarn.These weaving machines were exquisitely made and had a number of accessories and were made from bamboo or other type of wood. 布農族人亦如其他台灣原住民一樣，所使用的織布工具為移動式「水平背帶織機」。「水平背帶織機」係指經紗在織布機上所呈現的角度為水平型。也由於織布時一端固定，另一端則藉中介物，間接靠腰部來維持，隨著織造的基本動作，以控制紗線的張力，而為「水平背帶織機」。這些織具較精緻，配件也多，主要由竹或木材刨削磨光而製成。
