石渠寶笈續編(御書房),第四冊,頁2114&*故宮書畫錄(卷八),第四冊,頁22&*王澍(西元一六六八-一七三九年),字若林,江蘇金壇人。康熙五十一年進士,官至吏部員外郎。書法上精研各類名蹟佳榻,〈積書巖帖〉六十冊,是王澍臨摹古帖並考證題識的心血結晶。選展〈臨石鼓文〉冊之第一鼓,寫於雍正六年,其中對於石鼓次序與歷代榻本字數研究皆有題識,冊末盛讚石鼓文為「書中之盛,篆學之神」,王澍之篆字風格承繼唐李陽冰,其「玉箸篆」筆法結構嚴謹工整。(20100102)&* Wang Shu (native of Jintan, Jiangsu) was a Presented Scholar of 1712, serving to the post of Vice Minister of Personnel. In calligraphy, he studied the finest of famous rubbings. His 60 albums represent the crystallization of his efforts in imitating the ancients along with his research. This work transcribes the first drum from the album “Copying the Stone Drum Script.” Done in 1728, it includes inscriptions on the Stone Drum order and the number of characters in rubbings over the ages. At the end is his praise for Stone Drum script as “magnificent calligraphy, in the spirit of seal script studies.” Wang’s seal script derives from Li Yangbing’s in the Tang dynasty, the characters of his “jade pin” seal script brush methods being exact and meticulous.(20100102)
