- 中文說明:宋代以後，將錢幣制度化，並以當世皇帝的年號而命名，稱為「年號錢」。而「通寶」則是通行寶貨，如元代『至元通寶』，明代『洪武通寶』，及本件清代的『乾隆通寶』正是。
- 日文說明:宋代以後は貨幣も制度化され、当世の皇帝年号を名付ける、「年号銭」と云う。「通宝」は〈通行宝貨〉で、元代は〈至元通宝〉、明代は〈洪武通宝〉、またこの品は〈乾隆通宝〉で名付けられている。
- 英文說明:Systems of coins have been in use since the time of the Song Dynasty. It is, in fact, from that time that the Chinese began to name their coins after the reign of the current emperor. Coins were engraved with the name of reign during which they were produced and the term “tongbao” (通寶—meaning “currency in circulation”).
