- 中文說明:當牙蛀到不堪治療時，必須忍痛拔除以免後患難當。拔牙時也要依患者的齒形和角度，利用不同構造的鉗子夾。但不鏽鋼流行前，大都係鐵製，得時常磨光，避免生鏽而感染。
- 日文說明:虫歯で治療も出来なくなった時は、抜歯しなければならない。抜歯する時は患者の歯形や角度によって構造の違った鉗子を選んで治療する。不銹鋼が流行するまで鉗子は殆んどが鉄製で錆び易い故、いつも良く整備して感染を防ぐ。
- 英文說明:When cavities were too serious to treat, the patients had to have the offending tooth pulled to avoid any complications. Different shaped pliers were used as required depending on the tooth and angle of extraction. Before stainless steel became popular, most dental equipment was made of iron which entailed a great deal of polishing to prevent rust and, thereby, infection.
