- 中文說明:牛鼻環又稱牛鼻串（或牛鼻鎖）（Gu-phi-chhoin）。牛鼻環一般用金屬製造，以銅質較為不易生鏽，鼻環是穿套在牛鼻上，環上加附牛繩，牛容易驅使操縱。
- 日文說明:牛の鼻環は一般に銅質、または銹のつかない金属性で造る。鼻環を牛の鼻に通して、環に牛縄を付け加えると容易く牛を駆逐操縦できる。
- 英文說明:This type of nose ring is called a "gu-phi-chhoin" in Taiwanese. Such rings usually were made of base metal; brass rings were less prone to rust. These nose rings were placed in the noses of cattle and a rope was attached to facilitate leading the animals.
