英文說明:Halter tops were worn by women as undergarments. The outer layer of halter tops were made of a variety of fabrics, including cotton, hemp, and different kinds of silk. The layer against the skin, however, was invariably made of cotton as it absorbs sweat and is not affected by wetness. Embroidered onto this green-on-white example are a number of beautiful geometric patterns. This example probably comes from the Pingpu peoples of central Taiwan.
