- 中文說明:本件為清代台灣流行的菜瓜鬚銀環，在素面、光滑銀環的兩端打成細銀條，纏繞在兩頭環的上面，好像菜瓜鬚纏在枝架上，由於數千年來，多子多孫多福氣的思想信仰，所以會採用多子多果、蔓延不絕的瓜果做造型也是有所依據。
- 日文說明:清朝時代台湾で流行の胡瓜鬚式銀腕輪。素面、光滑な銀環の両端を細い銀線で打ち造って輪の両端の上に巻きつけ、胡瓜の蔓が枝棚に巻きついているような造りである。数千年来、多子多孫多福の思想信仰から、種や果実の多い蔓延しつづける胡瓜の造型を模倣したのには根拠があるわけだ。
- 英文說明:This is a Qing Dynasty silver snake gourd whisker bracelet popular years ago in Taiwan. The two wiry ends of this unadorned, shiny silver bracelet resemble snake gourd creepers wrapped around a trellis. This gourd design was chosen because the spreading vines and abundance of seeds reflected the belief held by Chinese for thousands of years that large numbers of children and grandchildren are a blessing.
