石渠寶笈續編(御書房),第四冊,頁2230&*故宮書畫錄(卷八),第四冊,頁113&*故宮書畫圖錄,第十二冊,頁231-232&* 張若澄,若靄弟。清安徽桐城人,乾隆乙丑(一七四五)進士。字鏡堅、鏡壑,一字鍊雪,亦善畫梅,工翎毛。 本圖為記遊寫景。整幅畫的構圖,充塞滿紙,除天空外,已無餘白。每一座山又以實景的名稱用八分書標名。山石皴法相當細緻,屬於王蒙一系。設色也很雅麗,山阜雖多累積而成,卻無擁擠之感。 &*Ko-hung’s Mountain Dwelling Chang Jo-ch’eng (1722-1770) Ch’ing Dynasty The brother of Chang Jo-ai, Chang Jo-ch’eng (style name Ching-chien, Ching-pi, and Lien-hsüeh) was a native of T’ung-ch’eng, Anhwei. He received the chin-shih civil service degree in 1745 and was a skilled painter of plum blossoms and birds. The painting is a record of Chang’s travels and the scenery he experienced. Compositional forms completely fill the paper and white areas are minimal. Each peak is identified by an inscription at its base. Mountains and rocks are given volume by the use of rich, fine texture strokes in the manner of Wang Meng. The use of color is beautiful and elegant. Although the mountains are complexly layered, the artist has avoided the appearance of overcrowding.
