石渠寶笈初編(御書房),下冊,頁1006&*故宮書畫錄(卷四),第二冊,頁121&*故宮書畫圖錄,第十七冊,頁203-206&*王振鵬(約西元一二八○—一三二九年),浙江永嘉人,字朋梅,元仁宗賜號孤雲處士。任秘書監典簿,累遷至漕運千戶。 本幅繪宋徽宗崇寧年間(一一○二—一一○六)三月三日開放金明池,舉行龍舟競渡,皇帝與民同樂操演水軍的情形。畫中樓閣亭宇,人物配置,景物安排,無一處鬆懈。王氏運用水墨白描法,以纖細繁密墨線作畫,精彩的界畫技藝令人嘆為觀止。此圖作於至治癸亥(一三二三)。&*Wang Chen-p'eng, native to Chekiang Province, was favored as a painter and served at court in various positions throughout his career. This work depicts the Pond of Golden Brightness, which was opened on the 3rd day of the 3rd month in the Ch'ung-ning reign (1102-1106) under the Sung emperor Hui-tsung for a dragon boat regatta. The emperor and common folk witnessed and took part in the naval exercises and maneuvers. The pavilions and buildings here are dotted with figures throughout. The dragon boats lined up were done with utmost precision. Wang used the pai-miao (outline) style of ink painting with extremely fine and dense strokes, making this a marvel of detail for extensive viewing.
