英文摘要:This Thesis aims at the Myths of Bunun Tribe, primarily to probe into the contents, classification and connotation of their myths. First of all, the Thesis tries to define the term “Myths” by collecting classifications adopted by scholars of all aspects for comparison and reorganization. Through the efforts, the Thesis clarifies the connotation of myths, legends and folklore stories to work out the definition and criteria applicable to the Study. Next, the Thesis introduces to “Collection of the Aboriginal Myth—The Myths and Legends of Bunun Tribe” written by Tien Che-yi. The myths and data contained in that book, after being reorganized, are classified into three major categories, i.e., Myths, Legends and Folklore Stories. Further based on the criteria of classification—presentation, analysis, elucidation, to locate the very conntation of Bunun Tribe myths. Through such efforts, the Bunun Tribe myths demonstrate different aspects of values and literatures.
