- 簡介:ReptilePointed-scaled Pit Viper腹蛇科龜殼花This species inhabits mountainous or cultivated areas and frequently is found in abandoned houses or farms. It is mainly nocturnal and great care should be taken as it is very aggressive and the poison can be fatal. Its diet consists of frogs, lizards, birds and rodents. Eggs are laid in summer with 3 to 15 eggs per nest. The young hatch in around 1 to 1.5 months and measure around 22cm. The females exhibit egg-protecting behavior.棲息於山區或開墾地附近，常在廢棄的房舍或農舍活動，以晚上活動為主，攻擊性強，有強烈的毒性，能致人於死，需小心因應。以蛙、蜥蜴、鳥和鼠類為食。於夏季產卵，每窩產卵3-15枚，孵化期約1-1.5個月，仔蛇全長約22公分 ，雌蛇有護卵行為。
