- 簡介:" Agathidium honestum entire dorsum dark reddish-brown; venter reddish-brown; antennae uniformly testaceous; legs reddish-brown. Pronotum 1.27 times as broad as head, slightly broader than long, very convex Elytron slightly narrower than pronotum, slightly broader than long, moderately convex; lateral outline with broadly rounded humeral angle. Habitats of A. honestum: Original broad-leaved forest, dead vegetation, fallen leaves and other debris. A. honestum is closely related to A. lucidum and A. tenebroides based on the length ratio of 3rd/2nd antennal segments, which is 1 or lower; it differs by the coloration of the dorsum, by the shape of the male hind femora and by the carinate mesosternum; furthermore, it differs from the former species by the width ratio of pronotum/head. The description of this speices here based on the description of Angelini and De Marzo（1995）. Agathidium honestum整個背面深紅棕色，腹面紅棕色，觸角為單一磚紅色，足紅棕色。前胸背板的寬度為頭部之1.27倍，寬度稍較長度長，非常凸起。翅鞘稍窄於前胸背板，寬度稍較長度長，適度凸起，側面輪廓具寬圓之上膊角。A. honestum棲息於原始闊葉林中，枯死的植群、落葉及其他植物腐屑。A. honestum 與A. lucidum和 A. tenebroides關係相當的近，觸角第三節與二節之比值皆為1或更低，但A. honestum背面顏色、雄蟲後足腿節形狀及中胸腹板之隆線與其他兩種不同；此外，其與A. lucidum不同處在於前胸背板寬與頭寬之比值。本種敘述引用Angelini and De Marzo（1995）所發表之文獻內容。"
