簡介:" 阿美族的飲食加工用具約有木臼、杵(木、石)、蒸桶、炊壺、籩等。主要材料為木材、石材、籐等。 木臼,是把榖舂成米及製作tulum(麻糬),或在搗舂晒乾的豆類、花生等食物很重要的飲食加工用具。杵為臼的附屬品,可分為三種:石杵、雙杵和單杵。其用途為搗舂穀物、米、打tulum之用。 杵以木杵居多,分單杵(打粟具為脫穗)、木雙杵和石杵(舂米或製tulum)。除了石杵以石材製成外,其他二種均以木材製成。木杵磨損了隨時可重作新的,但是石杵製作不易,較木杵珍貴,故至今仍多保存。 傳統上,木臼和杵是每戶阿美族人家生活之必要用具。現今阿美族人使用木臼和杵的比率明顯減少許多,多用於特殊祭典如豐年祭或文化觀光活動和展示之用。 Amis-Pestle -Ethnology-原住民-民族誌-標本-阿美-杵T he Amis food preparation instruments included wooden mortars pestles (wood and stone) steaming vats, cooking pots and split bamboo cooking baskets. The main materials were wood, stone and rattan.    Wooden mortars were used to dehusk rice and make "tulum" rice based delicacy or to grind dried beans or peanuts. Pestles were mortar accessories and can be divided into three kinds--stone, double pestle and single pestles. They were mainly used to dehusk and pound grains, rice and make tulum.    Pestles were mainly wooden, and there were also stone ones. New wood pestles could be easily made when worn but stone ones were more difficult to make and were more precious. Many are still preserved today.    Traditionally, the mortars and pestles were daily essential items owned by every Amis household. Today the number of Amis households using mortars and pestles has decreased drastically, with most used in special ceremonies, in cultural activities or in exhibitions."
