The basic formation of the parade includes one drum, a pair of cymbals, and two gongs. The drum is the lead instrument and the cymbals and gongs follow the drum. In the progress, the cymbal and drum parade functions like a baomazai team announcing the arrival of the deity.鑼鼓陣陣頭 鑼鼓陣可以說是整支隊伍中最基礎的音樂團隊，幾乎每頂轎前就會有安置。基本組成是一面鼓、一對鈸和兩面鑼，其中以鼓為主，鈸和鑼則聽從鼓的指揮。行進間它亦有前導效果，宣告主神的到來。 "
