- 中文說明:台南府城人，清同治四年生，字蔚材，號蕉麓，別署花花世界生。清光緒間中舉人，其詩文新穎而綺麗香豔，又以書法有名於一時，晚年則以左腕作書，筆力沉雄。
- 日文說明:羅秀恵台南の人、清同冶四年生れ字蔚材、号蕉麓、清光緒年間挙人に合格、その詩文は新穎で美しく、書法で知られる。晩年は左腕で字を書き、筆力はたくましい。
- 英文說明:Born in the 4th year of the Tong Zhi reign of the Qing dynasty (1866), Luo Xiu Hui, also known as Wei Cai, Jiao Lu, and Hua Hua Shi Jie Sheng, was a successful candidate in the provincial examinations. From urban Tainan, his poetry was original, and beautifully enchanting. Also famous for his calligraphy, he was able to write left handed in his later years. His brush strokes were heavy and powerful.
