- 中文說明:懷表早在16世紀已經在歐洲非常通行，男女都有配戴掛在頸項上，明末清初時期，經由傳教士傳入中國，清中期時（17世紀末期）逐漸改為橢圓形或圓形，並有分針與秒針，本件約為清末時期，小三針，有時針分針與秒針。
- 日文說明:懐中時計は16世紀頃からヨローパで非常に愛用され、男女が頸に掛けている。明朝末期には宣教士によってアジアにも伝入し、17世紀末期では逐次楕円形または円形に改良され、分と秒の針に分かれる。この品は清朝末期のもので、時と分と秒の三つの針がある。
- 英文說明:Pocket watches, both men and women hung watches from their necks, were already in common use in Europe in the 16th century. Missionaries introduced pocket watches into China around the end of the Ming and the beginning of the Qing Dynasties. During the middle of the Qing Dynasty (around the end of the 17th century), pocket watches gradually became round and oval and were made with minute and second hands. This watch, from around the end of the Qing Dynasty, has an hour, a minute, and a second hand.
