- 中文說明:電土燈是裝電石加水，使其起化學變化，因而產生電石氣，點燃電石氣就可發亮照明。電石燈用錫質，分上下兩層製成，下層放電石，上層裝水，接觸後即發生電石氣。在側邊有出氣口，亦即噴火口。這兩件文物都已不全。
- 日文說明:カーバイトに水を加えて発生するガスで火を点す照明具。錫質で上下二段に分かれ、下層にカーバイト、上層に水を入れる、左側にガス出口があり、火を点す。二件あるが共に不完備なもの。
- 英文說明:This acetylene lamp produces light by adding water to calcium carbide. Undergoing a chemical reaction, the calcium carbide becomes acetylene which is then burned producing light. Made of tin, the lower section contained the calcium carbide and the upper section held water. The sides have apertures to allow air flow and flames to come out. These two items are not fully intact.
