- 中文說明:紙幣取代硬幣而廣為流傳後，為避免紙質乾澀，或是新鈔黏貼導致誤差，特配置沾水盒，藉以數鈔時以手指沾水，方便一張一張的搓。本件係木質，盒中可置海棉控制水量，尤其添加雅緻底座，令人愛不釋“手”。
- 日文說明:紙幣が貨幣に代って広く使われるようになって、その鈔票を数える時、紙質による誤差をなくす為に沾水盒を配置して、手指を濡らして数え易くする。この品は木質で、中に海綿を入れて水の量を抑制する。緻密で雅やかな造りが人に好かれる。
- 英文說明:With the rise in circulation of paper currency, this device was designed to prevent counting errors which might occur with old, dry currency and newer bills. The person counting the bills would wet their finger in this container to make turning the bills easier. This wooden sample could be filled with cotton to control the water amount. The exquisite base is especially impressive.
