- 中文說明:捕魚張網，為免使漁網沈入水底，因為漁網在水中有網錘，因此在張網時，在網的上方繫以浮子，浮子有用陶器做的，也有用玻璃球。玻璃球外面結上網亦有數個玻璃球結在一起，增加浮力，玻璃球有大有小，小的如拳頭大的如米斗，各種尺寸都有視需要而使用。本件玻璃珠完整，但外網已有破損。
- 日文說明:漁網は水中に網の錘があるので、網を張った時、網の上に浮きを繋ぐ。浮きには陶器製とガラス球の二種類がある。ガラス球の外面に網、または数個のガラス球をまとめて結んだものがあって、浮力の増加を図る。ガラス球には大小があり、小さいのは拳、大きいのは升の大きさで、必要に応じて使う。本品は網の破損がある。
- 英文說明:When fishing with a net, the fishermen wanted to avoid having the net sink to the bottom. Because the nets were weighted, when they are cast, floats were attached to the upper edges. These floats were made of ceramic or glass. If glass balls were used, several were tied together to increase buoyancy. The glass floats came in various sizes, with the smaller ones being about the size of a fist. The appropriate size was selected based on the net being used. This glass float is complete although its net is damaged.
