- 中文說明:罄是佛教法器或樂器，誦經時與木魚同時使用，一般在敲擊木魚二聲後，敲罄一下，具有伴奏效用。本件為銅製，上部表面平整，底部表面凹凸，放置在罄墊上，具有附著力。
- 日文說明:佛教で使う法器、又は楽器。讀経の時、木魚を二度叩いて後、罄を一度叩いて伴奏する。
- 英文說明:The ching bell is a Buddhist instrument, which along with the wooden fish (a wooden block), is played as accompaniment when Buddhist scripture is being intoned. The ching bell is generally struck once to every two beats of the wooden fish. The top of this bronze specimen is level, while the bottom is uneven, causing it to remain in place as it is being struck.
