- 中文說明:荷包是古代男女的佩飾物，古稱荷，是放置零星細物的小袋，宋代以來稱荷包。以絲織物為材，上施彩繡，因此俗稱繡荷包。由於造型和材質的不同，而有不同的名稱，本件荷包呈斧形，分荷包袋和荷包蓋兩部份，黑底繡黃邊，面繡彩色花草。清末民初作品。
- 日文說明:荷包は昔男女が佩帯する飾物で、「荷嚢」と称し、小物などを入れる小袋で宋代以後「荷包」と称した。糸織物を材料として、彩り刺繍を施しているので「繍荷包」と言う。造型と材質の違いで名称が違う。この品は斧形のもので、荷包袋と荷包蓋で構成され、黒地に黄色の縁を、面に彩色草花を刺繍してある。清朝末期の品。
- 英文說明:This small bag was an accessory used by both men and women to carry loose items gaining the name"荷包" in the Song Dynasty. Bags of different material and different shape were given accordingly different names. This particular item is made of silk and takes the shape of an axe. It is split into top and bottom sections which act respectively as the bag and cover. The black silk has yellow borders and is embroidered with multi-colored floral designs. It dates to the early 1900s.
