- 中文說明:皮影戲源於漢武帝的寵妃李夫人逝世時；武帝傷痛得無心上朝，於是山東術士以紙剪成李夫人形狀，藉燈火的投影表現在布幔上，使武帝心生錯覺，也是皮影戲的起源。
- 日文說明:漢の武帝は愛妃李夫人が亡くなり、傷心の余り政治を執れずにいた為、山東の術士が紙で切った李夫人の姿を灯火で布幕に投影して武帝を慰めたのが影芝居の始まりである。
- 英文說明:Shadow puppetry originated when Emperor Hanwu's beloved concubine Li Furen died. The emperor was so distressed that he did not want to go to court, so artisans cut a figurine in the shape of his concubine, placed it behind a piece of cloth, and shined a lamp behind it to console the emperor.
