石渠寶笈續編(養心殿),第二冊,頁1124-1126&*故宮書畫錄(卷六),第四冊,頁271&* 王恆,生卒年不詳,字見可。晚明松江(上海)人,徙居杭州。善摹畫,為董其昌許可。 本幅為灑金箋,墨色別有一分濕潤感。此為一長方形冊頁,左側溪水蜿蜒,漁舟繫於洞前,為桃花源外的景致。入洞之後,處處桃花,右側漁夫與桃花源中村人晤談。全作恰如遠眺,各種美景盡在目前,觀之,令人心胸為之開朗。本幅選自「明人畫幅集冊」第十四幅 &* Active in the late Ming dynasty, Wang Heng (a native of Sung-chiang [modern Shanghai]) later moved to Hangchow. He excelled at copying ancient paintings and was admired by Tung Ch’i-ch’ang. This work was done on gold-flecked paper, giving the ink a most and rich quality. A rectangular album leaf, to the right is a stream with a moored skiff in front of the cave, suggesting a scene outside of the Peach Blossom Spring. The angler with oar, upon going through the cave, emerges in a land with peach blossoms everywhere. To the left, the angler converses with the villagers of Peach Blossom Spring.
