The painting shows farming huts and haystacks. Four people are in the open area in front of a hut pounding tassels of grain. The empty tassels of straw are arranged into piles to form haystacks. Above to the side is a squatting figure holding a pot and pouring tea into a white bowl. To the side are 3 more white ceramic tea bowls. This pot of tea was obviously prepared for the four hard-working people. Such a scene can still be found in the countryside today. From this work, one sees that tea was an indispensable drink to quench the thirst of people laboring.
