Copies made over the centuries were numerous, some following the format set by the Han dynasty artist, Mao Yen-sou. Others, unlike Mao, did not pay special attention to the faces of the concubines, so perhaps there was no strict composition standard. There are a total of three copies of the handscroll in the Palace Museum. This handscroll is a collaboration by Chin K’un, Lu Chan, Chen Chih-tao and Wu Kuei. The total length of the handscroll is 597 centimeters.
