- 五月五日慶端午，菖蒲石榴來應景，手搖蒲扇除溽暑。童子戲蛤蟆，蛤蟆國國叫，好奇保保哈哈笑。 紅衣童子手提棍綁蟾蜍，逗弄藍衣童子。兩旁各有一婦女，地上則有菖蒲、石榴等端陽時節應景物。畫中人物講究此間呼應，兩童子一引一趨，體態位置，頗富動感。婦女姿態優美，端莊嫻靜。
- Children PlayingAnonymous A child in red raises a stick with a toad tired to it, teasing a boy in blue to come closer. The lady to the left holds a large fan, while the younger one to the right seems to discourage the boy from getting too close to the toad. Freshly picked calamus and pomegranate flowers are laid on the ground, indicating the season of the Dragon Boat Festival. The painter has arranged this group of figures so that they interact convincingly. The children in the center serve as the focal point, and their activity imbues the work with liveliness. The woman with the fan appears quite elegant, standing there with exceptional dignity and grace.
- 紅衣童子手提棍綁蟾蜍，逗弄藍衣童子。兩旁各有一位婦女。地上放置菖蒲、石榴花，當是端陽時節景物。畫人物群像，講究彼此間呼應，此幅四人，兩童子之一引一趨，體態位置，頗富動感。右方小婦人，唯恐小孩摔倒，趨前欲加扶持，姿態亦美。至左方持扇婦人一派幽雅，尤能表現婦女之端莊嫻靜。
