- 石渠寶笈續編（養心殿），第二冊，頁1065&*故宮書畫錄（卷八），第四冊，頁84&*石渠寶笈續編（養心殿），第二冊，頁1065&*狹長的畫幅，正中下方，簡單的線條畫出鬲形器，盆上一塊奇石配上盛開的蘭花，畫來幾乎靠到畫幅的左右兩邊了，畫面顯得有點拙稚的氣氛。這種簡易的水墨畫，重視的是文人的的畫趣寄意。畫上的第二題，把蘭花比成深山?不與塵世同流的高貴美人，或猶如君臨天下的國王，這種象徵意義，把畫蘭成為文人的雅興。一般說來，先是遵照自然寫實，其後發揮個人想像，由客觀而漸主觀，注重的是整體表現的丰神，寫生的觀念漸消失，相對的依畫譜方法作畫越多。更有許多人以筆墨為寄託，以筆墨為遊戲，追求氣韻為勝，隨意撇捺，而幽姿自生。(王耀庭)&* 孫克弘（1533-1611），字允執，號雪居，松江人。得父蔭任官，卻無意仕途，於東郊故居修築精舍，建構庭園，奇石林立，鼎彝、金石、法書、名畫環列四週。好游戲於寫生花卉，下筆輒得其妙。 畫盛開的蘭花配奇石植於鬲形器中，寬度幾達畫幅左右邊緣，是瓶插式構圖方式的又一面貌。器形線條極簡，蘭花挺拔有力。簡練的筆墨，帶出稚拙氣氛，有文人意趣。幅上自題蘭花為「處為幽谷香，出為王者瑞。」頗有表徵品格之意。 (20110102)&* Sun Kehong (style name Yunzhi, sobriquet Xueju) was a native of Songjiang. He became an official with his father’s help, but he showed little interest in pursuing a career in government. Instead he retired to his hometown of Dongjiao and built a retreat there, constructing a garden as well. There he was surrounded by exotic rocks and trees with his collection of bronzes, ancient inscriptions, calligraphy, and paintings. He also took joy in sketching flowers from life, his brushwork achieving their wonders. This painting depicts blooming orchids with an ornamental rock in a cauldron-shaped vessel, the width of which almost reaches both sides of the composition. This is another interpretation of the “vase arrangement” type of composition in flower painting. The lines of the vessel’s form are quite simple in contrast to the orchids standing tall and straight. The succinct brushwork brings out a direct yet elegant aura, much in the literati manner.
