- 內容摘要說明：Busy all day and meditating over the opening of assembly. At 7:30 p.m. all met. The retiring moderator Rev. Dr. Sedgewick preached on "By their fruits ye shall know them." Rev. Dr. MacLaren moved that I be Moderator. Dr. Blachwood Seconded and I was unanimously elected. I spoke on I. assembly should do business in a business way. II. Should do it in a Christ like Spirit and III. Good effects would result. My God helped me through.
