- 內容摘要說明： Baro. 31. Left Nagasaki at 4.30 p.m. and had a good trip through the Inland Sea of Japan. The hills were bare in many places (evidently granitic disintegration). Pine and Bamboo grew in abundance homer. Light houses and villages broke the otherwise monotony of Similar covered hills. Lawn Tennis and Cricket were played on board. The Colonel and Commodore were in their usual characteristic humor. Arrived at Ko-be at 9.30 p.m. Some parties complained to the Cap. about Dr. Boggs' Child' who it seems cried now and again. May they be blessed some day hearing their own children crying.
