- 內容摘要說明：Baro. 30-10. At 1 p.m. we went to Mr. Gauld's. He engaged in Prayer. Mrs. G. sang and played "God be with you till we meet again." Immediately started from our house. All in tears. A Procession formed and we went round by the Consuls. Men from Chiu-nih were there with an enormous drum. There were - bands' Mr. Gauld was in the Process - We went on a Launch. Guns were fired' firecrackers went off in large numbers. The "Cass"' Cap. Jansen sent up rockets Consulate was decorated with flying flags. Converts at Iu-chhia-Khau and Pat-li-hun stood as the steamer came out firing guns and crackers. Two Steam launches' one Ah-sun's' the other belonging to Ho-be followed us out a good way. The former kept firing guns all the time. From the house to the steamer "Hailoong" there were - in the Procession 13 Students and Preachers were on board to Amoy.
