- 內容摘要說明：Baro. 30-16. Arose early and saw "Fukien" in harbor. Went down with Sun-a and Kau-a to welcome Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Gauld. Cap. said they are dressing. Soon Mr. Gauld came up' then I stepped down to see Mrs. Gauld. They came ashore rather "seedy" from sea-sickness. At 10 a.m. we went down to the chapel. I preached on Acts XVII: 7. Sun-a spoke at 2 p.m. the new Missionaries were so miserable that they did not go. I preached on Mt. V:1-2 Christ as Teacher. In the eve. we met in our dining room. Had a good deal of conversation with Mr. and Mrs. Gauld about Mission work… They seem to have the work at heart. Our Father in heaven bless and guide.
