- 內容摘要說明：Baro. 30-16. Still cloudy and wet looking-It seems that the canoes we Photo the other day are carried in great glee to the sea and Paddled for some time then carried back and put under cover in grass sheds erected for the purpose. These are kept in repair by the villagers. - Two are old and one is comparatively new. A new one is always made when an old one as about rotting. They are of Camphor wood. On the 7th moon they are taken to the sea. No doubt in memory of the landing of their fathers from the South. They are carefully kept to let generations see the kind of Canoes their ancestors used. They are between 20 and 30 feet long. Side pieces are lashed on' not nailed. - Went to Li-lau and Pok-pok.
