- 內容摘要說明：Baro. 30-18. All last night fought a head wind and high sea against us. ----Savages were on the beach at places with fires kindled waiting for Turtles to come up and begin to lay their eggs' then they overturn and kill them. Came to a place near the shore and hailed them and were answered. - 12 a.m. our boat was hauled ashore at Hoe-lieu-Kang. After lunch we made for Ka-le-oan under rain. - A number met at 8 p.m. and sang hymns etc.
