- 內容摘要說明：Heavy rain throughout the day…In the Col. all assembled and I spoke on Acts 17:24. Then at 2 p.m. on John 6:27. About nourishing the soul. See at eve. meeting a man from near Teng-siang-khoe got up and told how he began to worship the true God…He went to the chapel a number of times and heard the preacher(Tan Ban) discourse on the folly of idol worship' so he went home and told the family all about it. The oldest is 20 and youngest 7 years of age…All joined in taking down and burning the old dust covered objects of worship…In telling us he added "No stomach pain An idol from Tsui-tng-kha or dizziness followed…I am stronger happier' by far than when burning incense etc". He is 43 years of age and his wife is dead-Is a farmer…His name is Seng-a! Another man from Lam-kham gave me on Saturday night his old opium pipe as he is determined to cease using the drug…He told how' when and where the gospel first sounded in his ears…etc. etc.
