- 內容摘要說明：A preacher called Ang An came from Than-sia on account of trouble about his wife…It seems she was betrothed when young' but the affair did not come to a completion. An got her from the family and has a written document. Another man claims her as his wife and paid a gang of twenty "roughs" to enter the chapel seize the woman' child etc. and ruin the building. Head-men stepped in and the damage done was not great…Now they beg for a settlement. It is being arranged satisfactory to all. But O the troubles' vexations of soul here in the midst of such a worldly and superstitious people! What can we do? What but help where we can. In this case all got stuck as to what to do' then what a advised was jumped at and a solution found…How free ministers at home from a thousand annoyances here. Law' good law id there and the Magistrate' Lawyer' Doctor etc. are all abroad. O poor conceited' proved' ignorant China! God will humble thee get. Tek-Sun-Ku Beetles
