- 內容摘要說明：Left Toa-kho-ham at 7 a.m. and passed through Leng-tham-pi and had dinner at Tang-lo-khien…Arrived at Kiam-chhai-ang about noon. On the way extr. 78 teeth. Went out with Kau who carried a gun to shoot specimen birds…Passing by a small temple we looked in and there lying lengthwise above the idols was a venomous serpent six feet long. He shot and down it rolled writhing over the dumb gods. It was cut into 3 pieces… After dark I talked to a half dozen who came in till 11p.m.(eleven) I slept on boards put on benches and had needs burning near by to keep away the blood thirty mosquitoes… Geh-Bai
