- 內容摘要說明：Rain poured down all night and so too this morning is wet…It is fine growing weather. We visited all the Ka-le-oan villages…Just now the Tobacco plant is in every village and 7?feet high in blossom…Peaches and plums abound' also banana…Sugar cane. All working at the chapel. At 1 p.m. we started with one pony' the Dr. and myself rode in turns and visited Pau-kan' Pok-pok. Saw Tobacco' plums' peaches' citron' quince' pumelo' banana' persimmon' beans. A Hoa' Kau-a and several students went along…In the eve. 70 or 80 had a dance in an open space so as to let Dr. Rennie see…The moon shone for a while then two (2) rings appeared around her trees dark and green wet with rain glistened around. Buffalo and pig killed last night-killed in our honor.
